MAKING ROOM FOR MORE
We are a family inviting others into the life-giving story of Jesus. God has been growing that family fast! More people, more stories, more lives changed. That growth is a gift, but it's created a real challenge: we need to make room, because every seat filled is another chance for someone to find hope, forgiveness, and family in Christ.
At Garden Oaks, our mission is simple: We are a
family inviting others into the life-giving story
of Jesus.
There is nothing we love more than seeing people
discover the hope, forgiveness, and new life that
can only be found in Christ, and being welcomed
into the family of God.
Over the past few years, God has been doing
something incredible in our church. More people
are attending, more families are getting
connected, and more lives are being transformed.
We are deeply grateful for His faithfulness.
With that growth comes a wonderful challenge:
we need to make room.
We never want someone to walk into our church
and struggle to find a place to sit. Every available
seat represents another opportunity for someone
to hear the gospel, experience the love of Christ,
and become part of the family of God.
That is why we are launching the MAKE ROOM
initiative.
To create additional seating capacity, we will
renovate and reopen our balcony for weekly
worship services. Our balcony has served our
church well for decades, but it has not been
meaningfully updated in over 40 years. This
project will include:
• New seating
• New carpet
• Fresh paint
• General updates to create a welcoming
comfortable environment
This isn’t simply about improving a room. It’s
about MAKING ROOM for more people to find life
in Jesus and be welcomed into the family of God.
Every improvement helps us remove barriers and
prepare for the people God is continuing to bring.
The total cost of the MAKE ROOM project is
$75,000.
Our goal is to complete this project through the
generosity of the Garden Oaks family. Every dollar
given to this initiative will go directly toward
preparing our church to welcome more people and
continue reaching our community with the gospel.

people are hearing the gospel, children are
learning about Jesus, students are growing in
their faith, and lives are being changed. We are

ROOM to invite more people into the life-giving
story of Jesus.
