Disaster Assistance
Houston, especially the Garden Oaks area, was hit hard by the storms on May 16th. We know that many of our families are struggling to handle the extra expenses associated with the storm. As a church family, we want to support one another in this time of need. We are setting up a special benevolence fund for storm-related issues. Bringing an Offering
At Garden Oaks, we firmly believe that tithing and being generous are essential for our spiritual growth. The tithe represents a guideline for giving back to God a portion of what he has provided us. It is an acknowledgment of our dependence upon His provision. Generosity refers to going above and beyond to bless others through the local church. Both of these practices enable Garden Oaks to fulfill our mission to invite others into the life-giving story of Jesus.
