Here, you will find people who come from diverse social, racial and economic backgrounds who have found a personal relationship with God in common.  This is a relationship that draws us together and makes us family.  You are invited to join us on Sunday for worship and Bible study, and discover the joy and peace that comes from knowing Christ, as well as the loving fellowship that is Garden Oaks Baptist Church.

Garden Oaks Baptist Church is a group of followers of Jesus Christ, desiring to be his people in our part of Houston.  It is a living fellowship of Christians who meet together regularly to worship God, study the Bible together and encourage each other in following its principles and precepts.  We desire to know and serve our neighbors by ministering to their needs and being an encouragement to them.  We want to help people find the hope and joy that comes from knowing Jesus in a personal way.
