The Senior Adult Ministry is dedicated to the proposition that all Senior Adults are special.

About Us
The Senior Adult Ministry of Garden Oaks Baptist Church meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month in the Fellowship Hall for a time of recreation, education, and just plain enjoyment. If you are age 55 and over and would like to join us, we would be very happy to welcome you to our ministry.

Fun Fellowships

Our Fun Fellowships begin at 9:00 a.m. with table games. We're especially fond of Chicken Foot, Mexican Train, and Forty-Two. Occassionally, we bring out the Baseball Dart Board and challenge each other to a game or two.

Once a quarter we include entertainment and lunch. On those days around 11:00 a.m., we break for the entertainment of the day, which may include musical programs or educational forums. Then at noon, we have a delicious lunch which requires a reservation.

More Fun & Games

The fourth Thursday of each month the Senior Adults meet just to play table games in Fellowship Hall. They usually meet from 9:00 a.m. until noon (or later if the games are really challenging).
